The Black Death

The Black Plague tore through Europe in the 1300s, and it killed an estimated 200 million people - 60 percent of Europe's population at the time. It was horrific, and it must have been incredibly terrifying to have been living in Europe then. It makes me wonder if we'll ever see a disease kill so many people ever again.
